Family Fest brings games and fun to local families

Event was free, donations for Hunger Task Force accepted

One of the largest family events in Western Wisconsin returned to our area Sunday, providing fun ideas for families in the Coulee Region.

The 12th annual Family Fest was held at the La Crosse Center, bringing more than 60 different groups together to provide a day of fun for both kids and their parents.

Each year the free event brings the community together with games, police cars, bouncy houses, and even a fire truck for attendees to explore.

“It’s just a nice event where they can just come out, they don’t have to worry about admission or worry about getting tickets or anything, just come in, it doesn’t matter, you know, just go through and you don’t have to worry about your wallet,” said La Crosse Radio Group Promotions Director Heidi Hanse.

The event was free, but the La Crosse Radio Group asked for donations to the Hunger Task Force.
