‘Family Fun Event’ bring together La Crosse community members for fun, education

LA CROSSE, Wis. (WKBT) – Unseasonably cool temperatures Saturday didn’t stop the Family Fun Event in La Crosse’s Myrick Park.

Music, food, and crafts were all part of the fun during the family friendly event.

Coulee Region Child Abuse Prevention Task Force held the event as a way to so kids can have fun.

Parents could also make sure their family is healthy.

“There are agencies, there are places that you can go to get extra support during stressful times, because we all know what that’s like,” said Coulee Region Abuse Prevention Task Force member Kristy Braunreiter.
