Farm Show in La Crosse helps agriculture industry prepare for 2020

42nd year of the Midwest Farm Show held at La Crosse Center

LA CROSSE, Wis. (WKBT) – Area farmers are working to make sure 2020 is productive.

The 42nd annual Midwest Farm Show wrapped up at the La Crosse Center this afternoon.

About 7,000 people were expected and the event to see a range of products to help farmers be more productive.

And Gundersen Health System offered health screenings.

For the businesses in attendance, the show is a chance to help continue a Wisconsin tradition.

“We’ve been through the cycles with the farmers, people leave, people come back, people close up shop. We just hope that their kids can have the opportunity to continue the legacy that their parents or grandparents have created,” said Joe Sampson, Rural Mutual Insurance agent.

While this week’s Farm Show is wrapped up, plans are already underway for the the Farm show in 2021.
