Fashion show, prom give special fun in La Crosse
About 35 models took part
LA CROSSE, Wis. (WKBT) – It’s a special day for some people in our area.
The Beautiful Butterfly Project held their inaugural special needs fashion show this afternoon in La Crosse.
About 35 models took part and there is no cost for the fun.
“If you could see the look on these kids faces, that’s why we do it. They just, you could just see them light up,” said Beautiful Butterfly Project Prom creator.
Community members donated items for the event.
Organizers are planning to bring the event back next year.
During the evening, there was a prom dinner and dance for the special needs community in our area.
