FDA, CDC to discuss blood clots and Johnson & Johnson vaccine

WASHINGTON, D.C. (WKBT) — Dr. Peter Marks of the U.S. Food and Drug Administration’s Center for Biologics Evaluation and Research and Dr. Anne Schuchat of the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention will discuss six reported cases of a rare type of blood clot in individuals who received the Janssen COVID-19 Vaccine, also known as the Johnson & Johnson vaccine.
