Final call for art submissions for ‘The Gallery at Myrick Park’
LA CROSSE, Wis. (WKBT) — A new art display will showcase artists from the La Crosse area.
‘The Gallery at Myrick Park Center’ will open next month.
Artists with ties to the area are invited to submit photography or other artwork to possibly be displayed in the gallery.
Selected artwork will be displayed for four months, then new art will be selected.
While this isn’t the first art to be displayed in the Center, gallery organizers are thrilled to have more.
“We wanted to just increase on that to attract more people to the Myrick Park Center and to give them different options, if they are specifically interested in art,” said Tammy Schmitz, WisCorps Facility and Events Manager.
Interested artist do need to act quickly, the deadline to submit art work for is May.
