Fire destroys garage in La Crosse

No one injured

LA CROSSE, Wis. (WKBT) — The La Crosse Fire Department is investigating the cause of a fire that destroyed a detached two-car garage at 1018 5th Ave. S. early Tuesday morning.

Division Chief Craig Snyder told News 8 when crews arrived at about 2:30 a.m., they found fully-engulfed detached garage off an alley by a triplex.

No cars were in the garage, but a vehicle next to it was damaged. The garage is a total loss, Snyder said. No one was injured.
