FIRST ALERT FORECAST: A chance of drizzle (Both in precip and in gravy) for Thanksgiving. -Erik Dean
Highs will stay around normal for a few days.
DISCUSSION: My goodness Tuesday was an overall nice day across the Coulee Region. Some places started the day off with a little bit of patchy fog, but that quickly went away and we were left with plenty of sunshine. In terms of highs, we were in the 40s & 50s. Prairie du Chien & Boscobel made it into the mid 50s. I’ll take that any day especially in the last week of November. Let’s dive into Thanksgiving.
FORECAST: Highs will be in the upper 30s near Eau Claire as well as Red Wing. Otherwise 40s & 50s from Winona down to Boscobel.
In terms of precipitation, SkyTracker is showing some scattered showers across the area in the morning hours. Most places won’t see a drop. With that being said, I am keeping a drizzle chance in the forecast especially in the morning & afternoon hours.
NEXT 8 DAYS
Let the warming trend continue! Highs will stay in the 40s until we head into Sunday in which will see a cold front push through which will drop the temperatures yet again. We will see a nice jump again Monday going into Tuesday before yet another front swings through. That front will drop temperatures back to near freezing for Wednesday & Thursday. I cannot rule out a chance of precipitation for Tuesday going into Wednesday. That is something we will keep an eye on as those days inch closer on the 8-Day.
