FIRST ALERT FORECAST: Temps remain above normal. -Erik Dean
It looks like Mother Nature is giving us a nice treat for Halloween!
DISCUSSION: Wow! What a nice few days across the Coulee Region. Our average high for this time of year is 55°. and we’ve been way above that with highs in the 60s. The downside is we still need some precipitation. The good news is that we do have some rain chances on the 8-Day.
FIRST ALERT FORECAST: When you wake up in the morning, Temperatures in the 30s & 40s will greet you. Mid – Upper 30s will be the rule from Eau Claire down to Volk Field, over towards Boscobel and Prairie du Chien. 40s will be the rule from Decorah up to Winona & Red Wing.
SKYTRACKER: By this evening we’ll see clear skies which will make for a beautiful Saturday Night across the Coulee Region. If you have any evening plans, temperatures will be in the upper 40s – low 50s by the 7 PM timeframe. As we head into the 11 PM timeframe, temperatures will be in the mid -upper 40s.
HIGHS SUNDAY: Take a look at those highs, how about low to mid 60s yet again. Boscobel will make it to 66. Decorah and Eau Claire will make it to 62. La Crosse will make it to 63.
8-DAY FORECAST: Well, the good news is Halloween is shaping up to be a nice “Treat” by Mother Nature if you will. By Wednesday we’ll be unseasonably warm with highs flirting with the 70° That trend will continue for Thursday before another front pushes its way through. It will do two things; first of all it will drop the temperature with highs in the 50s & 60s. The second thing it will do is increase the rain chances starting Thursday Evening and lasting until Sunday.
Enjoy your Evening!
