Fly-In/Drive-In Breakfast brings fun to Viroqua Municipal Airport

Organizers have held the Fly-In Drive-In Breakfast for more than a decade.

VIROQUA, Wis. (WKBT) — By air and by land, community members are coming together for a day of fun in Vernon County.

Viroqua EAA Chapter 1439 held the annual ‘Fly- In Drive- In Breakfast’ Sunday morning at the Viroqua Municipal Airport.

Along with food, there were airplane rides, a jet fighter simulator and an antique car show.

For anyone not coming by plane, the day is a chance to realize just what impact airports of all sizes have.

“We want people to interact and see there is a good reason to have an airport in your community. It brings in business. It brings in visitors from other areas that will spend money in your community,” said EAA Chapter 1439 president Marty Grosse.
