Food drive benefits UWL Campus Food Pantry
Pantry used by campus students and staff
LA CROSSE, Wis. (WKBT) – The campus food pantry at UW-La Crosse could also use your help.
The pantry is hosting a food drive starting today.
It runs through Thursday this week and from Tuesday through Thursday next week.
Staff will be in the Whitney Center parking lot on campus from noon to 5 p.m.
Food from the pantry is available to UWL students, faculty and staff.
“We’re expecting them to study and do everything else and to do that without food is pretty impossible…we are encouraging all of our students to come to the food pantry, not only hte students on campus but the off campus students as well,” said UW-La Crosse staff member Will Van Roosenbeek. Non-perishable goods and money will be accepted during the drive.
