Forest Hills Golf in La Crosse open for spring
Walking play only available initially for golfers
LA CROSSE, Wis. (WKBT) – If you are looking for a reason to get outside and enjoy the weather, Forest Hills Golf Course is open for the season.
The course along the bluffs in La Crosse is open for walking play only to start the season.
Maintenance crews spent the past week preparing the course by clearing any sticks and other debris..
Staff say they are staying busy.
“A lot of people getting the clubs out, knocking the dust off and getting back out here. Which that’s the point. Get out, get loosened up, get some practiced in. Come out start playing a little bit and in March. Any time you can is a bonus,” said Forest Hills Golf General Manager Keith Stoll.
Golf carts could be available as soon as next week.
