Former Aquinas QB Conway to redshirt for Gophers
LA CROSSE, Wis. — Former Aquinas quarterback Michael Conway said he will red-shirt this season at Minnesota.
Conway, who attended the Blugolds’ varsity practice Friday afternoon, said he wants to allow his shoulder to heal. He also said his intention is to stay at quarterback.
A preferred walk-on for the Golden Gophers, Conway threw for 1,769 yards and 18 touchdowns in his senior season.
