Former GET standout, Nebraska walk-on Tim Wagner out for season
22290128GALESVILLE, WI — Former G-E-T guard Tim Wagner dislocated and broke his ankle in two places in practice Thursday, according to his father Mark, the Redhawks’ activities director and boys basketball coach.
Wagner, a walk-on at Nebraska, will undergo season-ending surgery Tuesday to put plates and screws in his ankle. He will apply for a medical redshirt.
Wagner averaged 23.6 points and 5.7 rebounds per game in his senior season at G-E-T.
