Four La Crosse County Supervisors will not seek re-election

The La Crosse County Board will see some changes in 2020. Four board members will not be seeking re-election.

District 17 supervisor Mike Giese was elected in 2014. Before the county board, he served as the Mayor of Onalaska from 2008 to 2012.

Ray Ebert of district 25 was first elected in 2006. Since then, he has served on multiple committees including the Public Works and Infrastructure Committee.

District 22 supervisor Patrick Barlow was appointed in 2013. He has a passion for education and works for UW-La Crosse.

Current Board Chair Tara Johnson from district 29 was first elected in 2000. She served on a number of committees including the Heroin and Illicit Drug Task Force.

Friday was the deadline for current board members to file paperwork stating if they will not run for re-election.
