Franciscan Healthcare Auxiliary taking orders for annual geranium sale

LA CROSSE, Wis. (WKBT) ― The Franciscan Healthcare Auxiliary is taking online orders for its 41st annual geranium sale.
Potted geraniums, patio pots and hanging baskets can be ordered until April 21 for pickup April 28 and 29. Proceeds will benefit nursing scholarships at Viterbo University and Western Technical College, both in La Crosse.
To follow Mayo Clinic Health System’s COVID-19 safety guidelines, the sale will be conducted a little differently, with ordering on the auxiliary’s geranium sale website.
Available for purchase are:
⦁ 4.5-inch plants for $5. Colors include red, white, pink, coral and an assortment of other hues.
⦁ Hanging baskets for $25 to $35, with a 10-inch basket of zonal or ivy geraniums for $25, and a 12-inch basket of mixed flowers at $35. An assortment of colors is available.
⦁ Patio pots for $18-$35, with an 8-inch pot of only red geraniums priced at $18. A 10-inch pot of only geraniums is $25. A 12-inch pot of mixed flowers costs $35.
⦁ Tree geranium, $55 for a 2½- to 3-footer.
Payment is required when ordering; MasterCard, Visa and Discover cards are accepted. Prices include sales tax. People who are unable to order online or have questions can call Pat Briggeman at (507) 895-4084 or (515) 401-2350.
Buyers can pick up their flowers curbside between 8 a.m. and 6 p.m. April 28 and 29 at the garage at 11th and Ferry streets in La Crosse. A limited supply of plants also may be available for sale at the site during the curbside pickup dates, but buyers should order in advance to ensure availability.
All sales are final, with no refunds or exchanges.
The website also is accepting donations for nursing scholarships.
