Free parking times extended for two downtown La Crosse ramps
2899826LA CROSSE, Wis. — La Crosse is trying to make it easier for people to park downtown.
The Parking Utility board is extending the amount of time people can park for free in two of the ramps.
Starting right away, the two-hour free parking in the Main Street and Market Square ramps is being extended to four hours. The change is intended to encourage parking ramp usage as an alternative to on-street parking downtown.
Free parking in the La Crosse center ramp will stay at 12 hours.
