Free shred event coming in La Crosse
There is a fee for anyone shredding more than 100 pounds.
LA CROSSE, Wis. (WKBT) – You can keep your information safe and get rid of some clutter during an upcoming shred event.
The free event starts Friday at Harter’s Quick Clean-Up in La Crosse’s Industrial Park.
Your can shred up to one- hundred pounds of material for free.
Everyone is welcome and encouraged to safely shred documents to prevent identity theft.
“One piece of paper can bankrupt you if they get your vital information. So better safe than sorry,” said Jeff Holmquist, Harter’s Quick Clean-Up sales and customer service manager.
The two day event starts at eight both Friday and Saturday morning.
