Frog resuscitated with CPR after being regurgitated by snake
An Australian man has given a frog a second chance at life with CPR after it was eaten, then regurgitated, by a snake.
According to the Brisbane Times, Jamie Chapel was called to catch a tree snake when he noticed the frog and that it had been spit up by the snake. He thought it was dead until he noticed its leg twitch.
Chapel began chest compressions on the amphibian and continued until it started to respond.
“He looked dead … It came back to life, I couldn’t believe it,” Chapel said.
The frog was treated for cuts and kept until it was well enough to be released.
“He just powered on through,” Chapel said.
