Galesville man arrested for OWI, threatens La Crosse Deputy’s family

A Galesville man is facing multiple charges after making threats to the deputy who arrested him for OWI.

David Lor, 25, was involved in a single-vehicle traffic incident on Saturday, November 16 at about 11 p.m. When law enforcement arrived at the scene, the La Crosse County Sheriff’s Deputy determined Lor was intoxicated. Lor became very belligerent, asking the Deputy to “shoot him” several times, as well as to “take him to jail.” Lor resisted arrest and told the Deputy “he had a 40.”

Lor continued to threaten the Deputy and his family saying “If I wanted to blow your brains out, I would have.” “Once I get out, trust me, your family gonna listen”. Lor made other threats to the Deputy’s family.

Lor is charged with threat to family member of law enforcement officer, obstructing an officer, disorderly conduct and operating a motor vehicle while under the influence – 2nd offense.
