‘Game On!’ set for Friday night

A night of fun and games will be taking over the La Crosse Center Ballroom next weekend.

Riverfront Inc. will host the fourth annual “Game On!” on Friday night, raising money to support services for adults with disabilities.

The event brings together eight teams that will compete during five rounds of party games.

Teams in the championship round could earn up to $1,500 for local school special education programs.

Organizers say the event is more popular every year.

“It involves the community and the community has really come together every year to support Riverfront. The money raised here goes to support people with disabilities. It’s been wonderful how the community has really stood behind this,” said Elissa Cook, development specialist for Riverfront Inc.

If you would like to go, the event starts with d’oeuvres at 6 p.m. Friday and the games start around 7 p.m.

A limited number of tickets are still available but organizers say you should act quickly.
