Get rid of unwanted pills safely throughout Coulee Region

UNDATED (WKBT) – You can get rid of unwanted medications during Saturday’s Drug Take Back Day.

9.7 million people across the U-S misused prescription pain relievers in 2019, according to a national survey.

The majority of those came from family or friends, often the home medicine cabinet.

“Here’s the responsible way to dispose of it and to get rid of it. And in doing that, you’re doing your part to lessen substance abuse,” said La Crosse Police Department Shawn Kudron.
