Getting your car washed keeps it clean and lasts longer

LA CROSSE, Wis. (WKBT)– Drivers are taking advantage of this warm weather with a trip to the car wash. Not only is it a good time to keep your ride looking good, but it also could prolong its use and value.

Workers at Quick N’ Clean on Mormon Coulee Road said the lines have been non-stop. But they were able to keep up with the demand on Sunday afternoon.

AAA said washing your car can extend the vehicle life and maximize the resale or trade-in value.

Depending on the climate and usage,  your car should be washed every one to three weeks. And make sure to get the underbody cleaned because it can prevent rust and corrosion.
