Girls Basketball: Byom scores 1,000th career point in Melrose-Mindoro win

Melrose-Mindoro senior Mesa Byom surpassed 1,000 career points in Monday’s 74-52 win over Bangor Monday.

Byom surpassed the mark about midway through the first half.

Fellow Dairyland school Independence was also in action Monday. They fell at home to Cadott 46-40 in double overtime.

Westby girls basketball won their third consecutive game Monday with a 57-33 win at Brookwood.
