Gloria Doyle announces candidacy for Circuit Court Judge

Judge Pasell has endorsed Doyle to fill his former seat

The La Crosse Family Court Commissioner is hoping to move up to a La Crosse circuit court judge position.

Gloria Doyle officially announced her candidacy for the seat this week. She would replace Judge Dale Pasell who recently retired.

Doyle has served as the La Crosse family court commissioner for the past nine years. Before that she practiced law for 18 years.

Doyle says it’s the natural progression for her to take the bench and she hopes to become a positive influence in the community.

“As the mother of two young adult women, I would like to be a role model for my own daughters and the rest of the women in the community as a woman who has the opportunity to take a position on the bench,” said Candidate Doyle.

Judge Pasell has endorsed Doyle to fill his former seat. An election is expected to happen in April. Right now Doyle is the only candidate.
