Governors budget will propose $200 million to assist small businesses
The budget includes aggressive economic development plans
LA CROSSE, Wis (WKBT) – Governor Evers announced his budget proposal will include funding to help businesses recover from the pandemic.
The budget includes aggressive economic development plans.
His proposal includes more than $200 million in assisting small businesses.
The governor also included more than $29 million for workforce development, and $100 million towards a new venture capital program.
These proposals are all part of Evers’ Badger Bounceback Agenda, aimed at helping the state’s economy rebound, rebuild, and recover.
