MADISON, Wis. — A Grant County man has pleaded no contest to numerous counts related to child pornography and sexual assault, according to a state Department of Justice release.
Aaron Bouzek, 32, of Prairie Du Chien, pleaded no contest Wednesday to four counts of repeatedly sexually assaulting a child from the age of 2 to 8 years old and one count of possession of child pornography, all in relation to that victim. The charges span from April 2008 to April 2014.
Prosecutors said Bouzek was convicted of sexual exploitation of a child for secretly recording a child while she showered and used the bathroom from September through December 2009. He was convicted of first-degree sexual assault of a child for sexual contact with a 1-year-old. He was convicted of sexual exploitation of a 2-year-old and sexual exploitation of an infant.
Bouzek also was convicted of another count of possession of child pornography, according to a release. Eighteen other charges were dismissed and can be considered at sentencing.
He faced a minimum of 25 years in prison and could be sentenced to up to 470 years.
Sentencing is scheduled for Dec. 18.
