Great River Shakespeare Festival returns to high expectations outdoors in Winona

WINONA, Minn. (WKBT) — The Great River Shakespeare Festival is returning to Winona.
Organizers decided to shake things up for the return of the event by moving performances outside.
“The Tempest” and “Great Expectations” will be performed at the stage in Levee Park right along the river.
Performances of the modern play “Every Brilliant Thing” will be outdoors at Winona State.
Shows run Wednesday through Aug. 1.
