ONALASKA, Wis. (WKBT) — Great Rivers United Way is raising money for prevention programs for child abuse and domestic violence.
In 2021, the organization gave nearly $335,000 to nine organizations.
Organizers are seeking support for the campaign to keep families safe.
“Last year, we had 37,000 crisis line calls answered by Great Rivers United Way funding programing, and your donation of just $15 can provide one hour of crisis response,” said Katie Sparks, the agency’s development director.
The fundraiser starts Monday on the Great Rivers United Way’s Facebook page.
