Great Rivers United Way offers virtual events to talk retirement
LA CROSSE, Wis. (WKBT) — Area residents who are in or approaching retirement are invited to attend two upcoming virtual events hosted by Great Rivers United Way.
The first event – “Trusts & Estate Planning: What you need to know” – will take place Tuesday, October 27, from 9:00 to 10:00 a.m. Financial Planner Mike Klauke, CLU, ChFC, and Attorney Emily Loe, who specializes in elder law, will present on the topics of trusts, probate, and estate planning.
The second event – “Retirement: Are you ready?” – is Monday, November 2, from 12:00 to 1:00 p.m. It will focus on the financial and emotional changes that accompany retirement, and three local retirees, including a retired financial planner, will share their insights and experiences.
