Green Bay man gets 11th OWI conviction
WAUSAU, Wis. (AP) — A 64-year-old Green Bay man has been sentenced to prison after his 11th conviction for drunken driving.
WAOW-TV reports Wallace Bowers received a four-year sentence Monday morning.
Police say that Bowers appeared to be sleeping in his car in the middle of a parking lot in Weston last month. Authorities say he later acknowledged drinking in Wausau and then driving to that spot.
When Bowers gets out of prison, his sentence calls for him to serve five years of extended supervision.
