Habitat for Humanity finishes house for area family
House dedicated on Tuesday was 38th completed in La Crosse area
LA CROSSE, Wis. (WKBT) — A La Crosse family has a new home Tuesday night thanks to Habitat for Humanity.
Erin and Mike Grosch and their five children will soon move into their new home on Farnam Street.
The house, dedicated Tuesday, is the 38th home completed by the La Crosse area Habitat for Humanity. It’s located in the Powell-Poage-Hamilton neighborhood and is part of Habitat’s Neighborhood Revitalization Initiative.
The Grosch family put in more than 300 hours of work on their home but they are grateful to the volunteers who put in countless more hours to make this possible.
“It’s amazing because there are people out there that don’t even know us and through Habitat they have made this possible for us,” said Erin Grosch.
Habitat is already working on another home and they plan to break ground on their next project this month.
