Handgun in mouth leads to La Crosse man’s arrest

LA CROSSE, Wis. — Police say a La Crosse man stuck a loaded handgun in another man’s mouth during an argument downtown.

Ryan Vandewalker, 33, was arrested early Saturday morning after the incident near the Bodega Pub at 4th and Pearl Streets.

La Crosse Police say Vandewalker, who had been drinking, allegedly stuck a loaded .40 caliber handgun in the victim’s mouth after Vandewalker’s girlfriend accused the victim of taking money from her a year ago.

Officers found the handgun in the waistband of Vandewalker’s pants.
