Health clinic opens in Anoka County Courthouse
ANOKA, Minn. (AP) — Basic health care just got more convenient for employees at the Anoka County Courthouse.
HealthPartners of Bloomington opened a clinic at the courthouse Monday which will be staffed by a nurse practitioner. It will offer preventive and acute care, along with some lab services.
It’s the fifth on-site-employer clinic HealthPartners has opened since 2005, but the first in nearly three years. Director of worksite health, John Hansen, tells the St. Paul Pioneer Press ( http://bit.ly/jkMeG6) that the company gave presentations to about 25 to 30 employers in 2010 about on-site clinics. That’s about twice the number given the previous year.
