Hear those bells? Salvation Army of La Crosse kicks off fundraiser

LA CROSSE (WKBT) — You’ll be hearing the sound of bells outside stores all over La Crosse County starting Saturday.

The Salvation Army of La Crosse kicked off its Red Kettle campaign, which raises about a third of its annual budget each year.

“We hope to raise about $250,000 this year, and our overall budget for the year is about three million dollars so you can see how important it is to raise that money through the kettles and through the mail appeal which is coming to everyone’s house real soon, too,” say organizers.

You can also donate online through the virtual red kettle.
