Historic Downtown Day celebrates La Crosse’s downtown this weekend

Annual event includes scavenger hunts, trolly rides, re-enactments

LA CROSSE, Wis. (WKBT) — La Crosse is celebrating its historic downtown this weekend.

The 19th annual Historic Downtown Day kicks off Saturday.

There will be scavenger hunts, trolly rides, and even some historical re-enactments.

With more than 20 buisnesses taking part organizers say it’s a great way for people to get to know their downtown a little bit better.

“It’s exciting when more and more people who live in La Crosse and our outlining communities are starting to re-experience downtown and enjoy everything we have to offer,” said Downtown Main Street Incorporated Executive Director Robin Moses.

Historic Downtown Day runs all day starting at 10 Saturday morning.
