Holmen continues expansion with office building groundbreaking
Building to house three medical practices
HOLMEN, Wis. (WKBT) — The Village of Holmen continues to grow at a quick pace.
Village officials celebrated the latest example of that expansion Thursday morning with a groundbreaking for a new office building that will house multiple medical practices.
The “814 Main Street” building will be the home of an eye car clinic, a dentistry practice and a spine health and injury practice.
Holmen Village Administrator Scott Heinig says it’s long been a dream of his to redevelop the lot, which has sat vacant for the last 30 years.
He says it’s just the latest piece in the village’s longterm plan.
“It’s essential to everything we’re trying to do,” said Heinig. “We’re obviously investing in our downtown with our new library, a new park system, the police station, we’re going to make investments in other areas of the business community as well in the downtown, and so this is just another catalyst that’s going to help that happen.”
The new 11,500 square foot building is expected to be finished by early November.
