Holmen High School Marching Band sweeps parade competition in Florida

HOLMEN, Wis. (WKBT) — The Holmen High School band is headed back to Wisconsin with hardware.

At the Reliaquest Bowl Festival Parade competition in Florida, the Marching Vikings earned a silver rating in concert band, second place in a field show competition and swept all categories in the parade competition.

Band members also took part in a halftime show with more than 1,300 performers.

The Holmen band typically travels every three years.

The band is expected to arrive back in Holmen with their trophies Tuesday night.
