Holmen native shot in the line of duty
HOUSTON, Texas (WKBT)- A Holmen High School graduate who is now a police officer in Texas is recovering after being shot responding to a call.
It happened during a dispute at an apartment complex in Houston, Texas.
According to a GoFundMe page organized by the officer’s sister-in-law, Sam Cleveland was shot in the arm and abdomen.
As of Monday, he was listed in stable condition.
Cleveland has worked in law enforcement for eleven years and previously was an officer in the Trempealeau area.
He is a 2004 graduate of Holmen High School.
A GoFund Me account has been set up for Officer Cleveland.
