Holmen neighbors keeping minds, bodies active through fun chalk drawings

HOLMEN, Wis. (WKBT)– Some Holmen residents are making sure their neighbors are keeping their minds and bodies active. They’re leaving chalk designs up and down the sidewalks around McHugh Street.

The activities are not just for kids– it’s meant to be for people of all ages.

One asks pedestrians to show off their best dance moves. Another says to name 3 things you are grateful for. Others are just plain silly, like telling people to walk like a crab.

The News 8 Now viewer who let us know about this project says the idea was shared with her neighbors on Facebook. It’s meant to make people smile as they keep good social distancing.
