Holmen School District improve athletic facilities

HOLMEN, Wis. (WKBT) — The Holmen School District is staying busy this summer.

Crews are working on two major renovation projects, including a new gym floor at the high school and replacing the middle school’s track.

The district’s building and grounds director says both the track and the floor were in desperate need of upgrades.

Over the next year the district will also be moving the softball field at the middle school and reshaping the football field to include a soccer field as well.

The projects will cost the district a just over $600,000.
