Humane Society asks people to sip to save lives
ONALASKA (WKBT) — The Coulee Region Humane Society is asking people to enjoy local beer and wine as part of a fundraiser to keep its pets healthy.
Pre-orders have begun for the Sip to Save Lives: Under Your Own Woof event. Date night baskets, which cost $70 each, include beer and wine from vendors such as Wine from Lost Island, 608 Brewery, Pearl Street Brewery, and Sand Creek Brewing Co. They also include an assortment of snacks and chocolate truffles, as well as two monogrammed pint glasses.
People can pick up their baskets between Oct. 7 and Oct. 11 at the humane society. Order a basket at www.couleehumane.com/siptosave2021. Participants need to be at least 21.
