In-person absentee voting runs Oct. 25 – Nov. 4 in La Crosse
LA CROSSE (WKBT) — Starting October 25, La Crosse residents can vote early in-person for the 2022 midterm elections.
In-person absentee voting in the City of La Crosse runs from October 25 to November 4. Voters must bring their photo ID. If you need to register to vote or update your voter registration, be sure to bring an acceptable proof of residence as well.
Voting locations and hours:
La Crosse City Hall – 400 La Crosse St.
8:30a.m. – 4:00 p.m. weekdays (except no hours on Wednesdays or Thursday, Oct. 27th)
10:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m. Saturday, October 29th
Open until 5:00 p.m. on Friday, November 4th
Southside Neighborhood Center – 1300 6th St. S.
10:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m. Tuesdays
10:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. Wednesdays
2:00 p.m. – 6:00 p.m. Thursdays
Northside Policing Center – 713 St. James St.
10:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m. Tuesdays
10:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. Wednesdays
2:00 p.m. – 6:00 p.m. Thursdays
A voter may also personally deliver their voted absentee ballot to one of the in-person absentee voting locations during voting hours. Be sure your certificate envelope is signed as voter and have a witness sign and provide their FULL address. Absentee Ballots that are returned on or before Election Day and are properly sealed, signed and witnessed are counted.
