In-person absentee voting underway in La Crosse

LA CROSSE (WKBT) — Wisconsin voters can now vote by absentee for the Aug. 9 primary election.

Voters in the city of La Crosse can vote in-person absentee at City Hall, the Southside Neighborhood Center, and the Northside Policing Center.

Hours for all three places are below, via the city’s website:

La Crosse City Hall – 400 La Crosse Street
Monday (1st), Tuesdays (26th & 2nd), Fridays (29th & 5th) 8:30 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.
Thursdays (28th & 4th) 8:30 a.m. – 6:00 p.m.
Saturday 30th 9:00 a.m. – 12:00 noon
Open until 5:00 p.m. Friday before election
(no absentee voting hours on Wednesdays at City Hall)

Southside Neighborhood Center – 1300 6th St. S.
Wednesdays (27th & 3rd) 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.

Northside Policing Center – 713 St. James St.
Wednesdays (27th & 3rd) 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.

If you requested an absentee ballot by mail, you can return it by mail, or drop it off at your clerk’s office or polling place.
