Increasing Clouds Overnight & Not As Chilly -Bill Graul
Isolated Showers Possible Wednesday, Scattered Showers Thursday
Tonight’s Forecast Low: 43F / Wednesday’s Forecast High: 58F…
Clear this evening, then increasing clouds after midnight from west to east. This cloud cover, along with SE winds 5-15 mph, will keep temps from falling as much as last night… with lows ranging from about 33F (north/east) to 43F in the La Crosse area. Isolated rain showers are possible into Wednesday morning.
A trough of low pressure will try to move in from the west on Wednesday, but slow down as it does. As a result, just isolated rain showers look possible during the day. Rain chances then increase a bit overnight and into Thursday as the trough slides east and an area of low pressure spins by to our south. Otherwise, expect mostly cloudy skies tomorrow with highs in the mid-upper 50s. It will also be a bit breezy, with SE winds 10-20 mph common. Highs on Thursday will be in the mid 50s.
Looking Ahead… Mostly cloudy to start Friday, then becoming partly cloudy during the afternoon. Highs will be in the mid-upper 50s. Mostly sunny and pleasant Saturday, with highs in the upper 50s and perhaps even some low 60s for some. Partly sunny, breezy and cooler for Halloween Sunday with highs in the low 50s.
It gets cooler heading into next week… just in time for the start of November. Expect highs in the upper 40s to low 50s Monday, with partly sunny skies. Highs next Tuesday and Wednesday look like they’ll only be in the mid-upper 40s, with overnight lows in the 20s to near 30F. Brrr!
Have a great Tuesday night! -Bill Graul
