Independence’s Ziy Conner takes State title in 100 hurdles
Independence senior Ziy Conner took first place in the 100 meter hurdles at the WIAA Division 3 State meet Thursday in La Crosse.
Conner came in as the top-seeded runner and won the title with a time of 15.6 seconds.
Conner had previously finished seventh in the event her sophomore year and fifth her freshman year.
