Installation underway for ziplines at Trane All-Abilities Park in La Crosse
Work may be completed by the middle of November.
LA CROSSE, Wis. (WKBT) – A new addition to a park on La Crosse’s south side will give more for community members to enjoy.
Installation started this morning at Trane All-Abilities Park for new ziplines.
It was part of the original plan, but was delayed, due to funding.
That delay didn’t slow requests to see the new feature added.
“It was like our number one request. But it was kind of outside the scope of the original phase. When we got some additional funding, we knew that this is the piece we had to add to the park,” said La Crosse Parks, Recreation and Forestry Department project specialist Jim Flottmeyer.
Work may be completed by the middle of November.
And some more additions may be coming for the park, though no timeline is set.
