International Festival of Owls in Houston County looks ahead to 2021

Event traditionally draws visitors from around the world

HOUSTON, Minn. (WKBT) – People that give a hoot about owls will get a chance to celebrate the birds during the International Festival of Owls again this year.

The annual festival normally brings in owl lovers from around the world to Houston Minnesota.

This year, the event will include an owl art contest, socially distanced ‘owl prowls’, as well as Owl Hall of Fame presentations , with event planned for online.

The Festival is also seeking suggestions that can be held safely, which starts March 5th.
