Investigation continues in Minn. child’s 1989 disappearance
MAPLE GROVE, Minn. (AP) — Investigators are continuing their search of a home in a Twin Cities suburb where a girl lived before she disappeared 25 years ago.
Maple Grove police have declined to say what prompted the search or what they’re looking for. The warrant used by investigators in the search is a sealed document at this point.
Authorities began their search on Sunday and have removed boxes from the home where Amy Sue Pagnac once lived. She was 13 when she disappeared from an Osseo gas station in August 1989. Her stepfather had stopped to use the restroom, and he told police she was gone when he returned.
Pagnac’s parents told the Star Tribune this week that they believe their daughter is alive and was abducted for sex trafficking.
