LANSING, Iowa (WKBT) — An Iowa girl who had been missing for a week has been found safe and returned home, according to Lansing police.

The Lansing Police Department and Allamakee County Sheriff’s Office said Wednesday they were looking for 16-year-old Jean Clements in the Sparta area.

Authorities posted the missing person poster on their Facebook pages early Wednesday morning searching for Jean Clements, 16. She was last seen in Lansing a week ago, on July 7.
